Give a blue ribbon to this worthy green vegetable!

This nutrition powerhouse is known to decrease the risk of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. It is also valuable for promoting a healthy complexion, healthy hair, increased energy, and generally lower weight.

Ingredients:

5 cups chopped broccoli

1 cup sunflower seeds

½ cup raisins

Dressing:

1 cup raw cashews

3 T agave (or 3 soaked medjool dates – I prefer to use the dates)

2 T raw apple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice

¼ cup red onion

½ tsp. salt

2/3 cup water

Blend dressing ingredients and pour over broccoli, sunflower seeds and raisins. Mix thoroughly.
